Margaret Rose McKita

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Margaret Rose McKita, 102, of Rostraver Township, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at the Hallsworth House in Monessen. She was born Nov. 22, 1922, in Monessen, daughter of the late Steve (Mihalich) Mehalik and the late Mary (Banyas) Mehalik. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Edward McKita; a son, John Edward McKita; two sisters, Mildred Furio and Matilda Mehalik; and a brother, John Mehalik. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Dennis (Deborah) McKita of Rostraver Township and Tom (Adele) McKita of Donora; seven grandchildren, Adam, Jesse (Amanda), Krysta (Steve), Josh (Kelsey), Jillian (Steve), Jacob and Blake; six greatgrandchildren, Ellie, Adam II, Della, Lola, Reese and McKenzi; along with several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L.
