Rose Mendarino

CARMICHAELS, PA., FORMERLY OF DONORA Rose Mendarino, 90, of Carmichaels, Pa., formerly of Donora, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025. She was born Nov. 6, 1934, in Donora, a daughter of the late Carl A. and Josephine M. Palone Mendarino Sr. Surviving are three sisters, Grace Manges (James) of Donora, Gloria Backstrom (Robert) of West Newton and Beatrice Mendarino of Carmichaels. Pa.; a brother, Carl Mendarino Jr. of Carmichaels; two brothers-in-law, Donald Garland of Amity, Pa., and Bernie Reday of Monessen; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Yolanda Reday and Joan Garland. There will be no public visitation and private interment will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Monongahela.
