• The Belle Vernon Area School Board reported that the district’s budget was on track halfway through the fiscal year. According to the report, the district received $18.6 million of the $26.2 million it expects to bring in as revenue for the year. District business manager Eileen Navish said $11,100,888 in real estate taxes have been paid. Navish added that the school board has been very successful in keeping expenses in line.
