Longtime Monongahela firefighter honored

During the Monongahela Fire Department’s recent Christmas party, state Rep. Andrew Kuzma, R-Elizabeth Township, helped honor Chris Bartkus, a lifetime member who has served the department for 50 years. He has served as a lieutenant, captain, assistant chief and chief. He continues to serve as an engineer. Kuzma presented him with a Pa. House citation recognizing his service. He is pictured holding his citation with, from left, his son Chad Bartkus, and Kuzma.
