Mckeesport DAR honors ‘Mr. McFeely’

The Queen Alliquippa (McKeesport) Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently honored David Newell, with its Chapter’s Award for Promotion of Education in the Media, for his 50-plus years as Mr. McFeely from “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.” In addition to a certificate, he was presented with an American flag, which was flown over the Daughters of the American Revolution headquarters in Washington, D.C.
