Marion Alterici Sance – Monongahela

Marion Alterici Sance, 88, of Monongahela, passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, in Vida Springs Senior Living and Pers onal Care Home in Monongahela. Born July 2, 1936, in Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sonia Parenti Alterici. Marion graduated in 1954 from the former Monongahela High School and for over 20 years worked at Keystone Bakery in Monongahela until its closing. A member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish (formerly St. Anthony’s) in Monongahela, she is survived by a son and daughterin- law, Scott and Lorena Sance of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a daughter and son-inlaw, Renee and Robert Cook of Greensburg; brother, Ralph Alterici of Monongahela; five grandchildren, Adam (Courtney) Bergamasco, Brad Bergamasco, Matthew (Anel) Bergamasco and Dylan and Haley Sance; and five great-grandchildren, Enzo, Nico, Arlo, Leo and Bianca. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R. Sance, who died May 8, 2016; and a grandson, Ryan Sance, in July of 2016. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial that will be celebrated in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 722 W. Main St., Monongahela, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
