Christopher Shane Rabe – North Belle Vernon

Christopher Shane Rabe, 21, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at his home. Born Oct. 6, 2003, in Monongahela, he was the son of Daniel G. Rabe of North Belle Vernon and Shannon Williams of Washington Township. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Christopher was always with his friends, was a songwriter, a bass player in his band Petrone and most of all enjoyed spending time with his brothers, his sister and cousins. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers, Jake Rabe and Gavin Rabe both of North Belle Vernon; sister, Mia Monack of Washington Township; paternal grandparents, Dwight and Cecilia Williams of Washington Township; maternal grandmother, Bonny G. Rabe of Rostraver Township; aunts and uncles, David and Teresa Rabe, and Lisa and David Karn; honorary brother, Ted Strother-Burkhart; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lloyd G. Rabe; and uncle, Christopher Shane Williams. Private visitation and funeral services were held Tuesday with the Rev. Michael Thomas at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724929-6183. Interment will take place in Monongahela Cemetery at a later date.
