Carol Ann Wall Spadafora – Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, formerly of Monongahela

Carol Ann Wall Spadafora, 81, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, formerly of Monongahela, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024. Born Jan. 8, 1943, in Monongahela, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Gorondy Wall. A resident of Rostraver Township for the past 35 years, Carol was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver, where she was active in the Christian Mothers and Prayer Group. Carol was a retired medical office manager for a surgeon, Dr. Robert George. She and her husband, Edwin, taught marriage preparation classes at the former Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church. Carol was known for her love of baking, cooking, and above all, her devotion to her family as a proud mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Kristen L. Spadafora of Rostraver Township; son, Keith L. Spadafora of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren, Bryce E. Haynes, Paige N. Julian and Kiera L. Julian; two sons-in-law, Paul Julian and Scott Haynes; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Gerri Wall of Philadelphia; two sisters and brothers-inlaw, Patricia and Robert Patton of Finleyville, and Judy and Tony Bottino of Monongahela; and three “adopted children,” Cynthia Dy, Sarah Marquez and Sherwin Aguilar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin L. Spadafora; daughter, Karen Lynn Julian, brother, Val Wall; infant brother, James Blaine Wall; and sister, Sarah Fritzel. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Anne with Rev. Rosella Melloria as celebrant.
