Perry J. George – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Perry J. George, 79, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Dec. 6, 2024, at Donnell House of Washington, Pa. He was born in Charleroi, son of Anthony and Smaro Kaikes George on Feb. 17, 1945. Perry was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Monessen, as well as the American Legion Post No. 28 of Monessen. He was also a member of the French Club of North Charleroi. Perry served his country in the United States Army. He greatly valued spending time with his family and friends, a good card game and helping with veterans and church functions. Surviving are his wife, Judy Mendola George; son, Nick and wife Corrine George of Peters Township; daughter, Jamie and husband Costa Papaioannou of Hanover Mass.; grandchildren, Dylan and Delanie George and Antonios, Isabella and Sebastian Papaionnou; brothers, Michael George and Father Andrew George; and sister, Vicki Kontgiourgis.
