Fire damages Mckeesport house

Officials are investigating after a massive fire Saturday morning in McKeesport. The City of McKeesport Bureau of Fire posted on Facebook that crews were called to the scene of a residential fire along Auberle Street just after 6 a.m. When firefighters arrived, the two-story home was fully engulfed, with off-duty personnel and mutual aid units being requested to help put out flames. The building was said to be unoccupied. Due to the extent of the fire and the condition of the home, operations were restricted to the exterior of the building. Emergency responders were advised that the location was a known hoarder house, the post said, with questionable floor integrity. Crews spent about two hours at the scene. Photo by WTAE-TV
