House damaged in Elizabeth Township fire

The Elizabeth Township Fire Department responded to a home at Dalewood Drive at 12:30 a.m. Saturday for reports of a chimney fire. When firefighters arrived, they found that flames had spread into the walls of the house. They put the flames out in less than 30 minutes and left the scene within two hours of the original call.
