Driver injured in North Belle Vernon accident

First responders were called to the scene of a vehicle accident with entrapment along Broad Avenue in North Belle Vernon around 5 p.m. Monday. NBV Fire Chief Shelby Ferguson said one vehicle driven by a 97-year-old female overturned after hitting a parked car along the roadway in front of 825 Broad Ave. Ferguson said the woman was trapped inside the car and crews had to remove the roof to extract her.
