Donora budget calls for property tax increase

Councilman Fred Berestecky voted against the proposed tax hike in the 2025 budget.

Property owners in Donora council may see a tax increase next year as council voted on the proposed budget during a special meeting Thursday.

Council President Cindy Brice and council members James Brice, Michael Mc-Dowell, Deanne Pavelko, and Casey Perrotta voted in favor of the tax increase. Councilman Fred Berestecky voted against an increase.
