E. Patricia Leonard – Elizabeth Township, formerly of McKeesport

ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP, FORMERLY OF MCKEESPORT E. Patricia Leonard, age 87, of Elizabeth Township, formerly of McKeesport, passed peace fully at UPMC East Hospital on Frid a y , Nov. 8, 2024. She was born in McKeesport, on Nov. 12, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Ruscin Liberatore. She retired after 24 years as a special education teacher’s aide from McKeesport Area School District. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church and was devoted to her Catholic faith. She was also a member of Italian Sons and Daughters of America Lodge No. 57. She was passionate about her family, enjoyed cooking and baking, especially around the holiday season, and loved to entertain. She was a woman of style who was always ready for a day of shopping, and she loved her trips to the casino, where she was a frequent donator. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of 69 years, William “Bill” Leonard, who were married since June 11, 1955; children, Tracy (Jay) Migliozzi of Pittsburgh, Kerry (Chuck) Dick of North Huntingdon, Marcy (Scott) Thompson of Isle of Palms, S.C., and William “Bill” (Amy) Leonard of Potomac, Md.; grandchildren, Tricia (Brandon Jones) Hoffman, Jay (Nicole) Migliozzi, Lauren (Tanyi) Ebott, Olivia (Trent) Giger-Papke, Matthew (Alex) Leonard, Tay Thompson, Ryan Leonard and Sean Dick; great-grandchildren, Sofia, Harlow, Aila, Bela, Camden and Caia; and brother, Frank (the late Debi) Liberatore of Simpsonville, S.C. Family and friends will gather from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES INC., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 2515 Versailles Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132. Burial will follow.
