Vacancy board must consider council opening in Donora

Any registered voter in the borough can submit an application until Nov. 27 to be part of the board.

Donora Council still has a vacancy to fill, and Washington County Court has sent the issue back to the borough to figure out.

In September, former councilman Tommy Thompson resigned. In October, former councilman Gib Szakal applied for the opening but council voted against appointing him to the board.
