CRIME BRIEF
A Pittsburgh man wanted on a bench warrant out of Allegheny County was arrested Sunday in Charleroi after jumping from a balcony. Roneal Dunscomb, 38, is charged with loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Charleroi Regional Police responded to the Char House around 1 a.m. Sunday for a disturbance after Washington County 911 received multiple calls reporting yelling.
Police saw two females and one male later identified as Dunscomb arguing on one of the balconies.
Deborah Wilson apologized to officers for the yelling and invited them into the apartment. There was not a male inside, but officers saw shoes belonging to a man on the balcony, an affidavit states.
They found Dunscomb outside the apartment in a gravel area. He allegedly told police that he was “on the run” and that officers “did their jobs” getting him.
Dunscomb was taken to Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Township to be treated for his injuries before he was cleared for arrest. He is being held in the Washington County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Eric Porter in Charleroi.
