• Brendan Michael Tempel, 33, of Charleroi was charged with flight to avoid apprehension, trial, or punishment, resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, false identification to a law enforcement officer and loitering and prowling at night time after an alleged incident Thursday, court records state. A preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Joshua Kanalis is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Oct. 16.

• Christina Marie Scafuri, 26, of Charleroi was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after an alleged incident Thursday, court records state. A preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Eric Porter is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Oct. 10, and Scafuri is being held in Washington County Prison unable to post a $20,000 bail.
