Bentworth girls suffer first loss; TJ girls roll over AG

By JEREMY SELLEW

The Bucs (6-2, 4-1) picked up the lone goal of the game in the waning minutes of the first half after a high-bouncing ball found its way behind Bearcats keeper Nita Anderson.

“Both sides were really up for the game. Both teams traded some momentum and possession. I felt like we had a great first half,” Bentworth coach Tyler Hamstra said. “Neither team had many great chances and I felt like the game would be decided on something like that.
