Letters to the Editor policy

The editorial department of the Mon Valley Independent encourages letters to the editor. Letters must be no more than 500 words, must be in good taste and must include the author’s name, town of residence and telephone number for verification. We reserve the right to accept or reject any letter for publication and to edit for grammar and length.
