NEWS SHORT Shooting victim hospitalized

A person was flown to a hospital following a shooting Saturday afternoon in Washington Township, Fayette County.

Fayette County District Attorney Michael Aubele told WTAE that one person had been shot and was in stable condition.

County dispatchers confirmed that someone was transported via helicopter to a hospital from the 200 block of Naomi Road. An unidentified person of interest connected to the shooting is in custody.

Aubele said there is no danger to the public following the shooting.
