Family, friends and strangers have been coming to the aid of the victims of a tragic fire in the Elrama community of Union Township that claimed the life of a pregnant 19-year-old woman, and destroyed the family’s home.

The Elrama Volunteer Fire Company of Union Township began a collection drive for the family who lost everything in the early Friday morning blaze.

The Elrama Vol. Fire Co confirmed Friday night the 19-year-old woman, Sabrina Boyle, who was rescued from the Fairview Street house and taken to a hospital, later died that night. She was 23 weeks pregnant.

Boyle’s boyfriend and his parents, the homeowners, were able to escape but lost everything in the blaze.

During the annual Elrama VFC car show on Sunday, which had been planned in advance, donations were being collected for the Tortorice and Boyle families.

Donations for the families are being accepted here: www.gofundme.com/f/ m5b92-rebuild-our-lives-after- house-fire www.gofundme.com/f/ help-lisa-and-steve-throughthis- tragedy As of press time, more than $13,000 had been raised through both fundraising efforts.

The Elrama VFC is accepting clothing donations on behalf of the family. These are measurements of the family:

• Dad: 32/32 pants, large shirt, size 10 shoe.

• Mom: Size 5 pants, large shirt, size 8 shoes.

• Boy: 32/32 pants, medium shirt, shoe size 9.

A fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
