Ronald J. Bukowski – Vanderbilt, formerly of Monessen

VANDERBILT, FORMERLY OF MONESSEN Ronald J. Bukowski, 81, of Vanderbilt, formerly of Monessen, passed away on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at his home. He was born in Marianna on May 15, 1943, a son of the late John A. and Ann Moticak Bukowski. Ron served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He worked at Union Carbide/Linde for 18 years, and U.S. Steel’s Braddock plant for 18 years. Ron was a life member of Monessen Fire Department No. 1, the American Legion Riders, and the Mon Valley Custom Car Club. He greatly enjoyed hunting, sports and playing the accordion. Surviving are his son, Tim and wife Laurel Bukowski of Rostraver Township; daughter, Amy Bukowski (Ron); grandsons, Cole Bukowski, Noah Bukowski and Ronnie Piasecki; and granddaughter, Cassidy Piasecki; great-grandson, Camden Sloan; his special companion, Pat Bisko; sister, Marsha Fazekas and husband Don of Washington; brother, John E. Bukowski of Jefferson; and nieces and nephews, Donald and Jenny Fazekas and Dana and Adrian McMillian. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Patricia Foster Bukowski. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
