Monessen Lions donate to Monessen Shade Tree Commission

For over 75 years, the Monessen Lions Club has been serving the community by making generous donations and supporting worthy causes and projects. The Monessen Shade Tree Commission received a generous donation from the Lions Club to help maintain the 40 newly planted trees and achieve the Tree City USA status. Lions Club members, from left, include Kathy Warfield, Angelo Loulis, Cleon Kordistos, Mark Panicucci and Monessen City Council liaison Karen Cosner. Monessen Shade Tree commissioners Gordon Marshall, Mary Jo Smith and Marc Bellora are also celebrating this accomplishment.
