Anita Kozar – Carroll Township

CARROLL TOWNSHIP Anita Kozar, 84, of Carroll Township, passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024, at Penn Highlands Mon Va l l e y Hospital in Carr oll To w n ship. She was born on Feb. 8, 1940, in McKeesport. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Norton, mother, Maria Elena (Perez) Norton, and her first husband, Richard Malinchak. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband Ronald Kozar; a daughter, Carolyn Moffett; a grandson, Nicholas Moffett; and a stepson, Ronald Kozar Jr. Anita was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. She loved bingo, going to the casino and was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Pens! Anita was an amazing cook and will be fondly remembered for her Christmas parties and Thanksgiving dinners. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 2024. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Donora Campus with the Rev.
