POP UP AND PLAY IN MCKEESPORT

The Allegheny Intermediate Unit McKeesport Family Center partnered with McKeesport police for a “Pop Up and Play” summer safety series event at Riverview Playground in McKeesport on Wednesday. Officers talked to children about the role of the police department, crime and drug abuse prevention, gun safety, and what to do in the event of an emergency. The next Pop Up and Play is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 6 during the city’s National Night Out event in the Fawcett Plan.
