Robin ‘Fay’ Gedekoh Sleith – Carroll Township

CARROLL TOWNSHIP Robin “Fay” Gedekoh Sleith, 69, of Carroll Township, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Penn Highlands Mon Va l l e y Hospital. She was born Dec. 3, 1954, in McKeesport, daughter of the late John C. and Alyce Fay Fine Gedekoh. Following her graduation from Elizabeth Forward High School, Robin attended Duquesne University. Methodist by faith, she worked for Verizon in Robinson Township as a sales consultant until her retirement. Robin was a member of the Hoot Owl Athletic Association in New Eagle, enjoyed vacationing with her family in Disney, playing the piano and slot machines at her favorite casino, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles D. Sleith Sr., who she married July 13, 1982; two sons and a daughter- in-law, Chad (Jessica) Mertz of Perryopolis, and Ryan Mertz of Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers and a sister- in-law, Chris (Janine) Gedekoh of Rostraver Township and Utch Gedekoh of Elizabeth Township; two sisters, Edna Gedekoh of Carroll Township and Dorree Gedekoh of Elizabeth Township; six grandchildren, Shannon Sleith, who she helped to raise and considered her like a daughter, Derek, Kara, Chase, Chessa and Willow
