TRAILSIDE 70, CEDARBROOK 54

By the MVI

Trailside only carried a roster of five into its game against Cedarbrook Tuesday, but that was enough to pick up a 70-54 win and move into the final playoff spot in the league standings.

Bella Furno (Norwin) buried seven 3-pointers and finished with 19 of her 33 points in the first half to carry Trailside (3-4).

Uniontown’s Charley Murtha added 14 points and Greensburg Central Catholic’s Nolan Althof added 11 to give Trailside three players in double figures.

Cedarbrook (1-6) was led by Elizabeth Forward’s Michelle Jellison’s 32 points. She scored 18 in the second half.

Penn-Trafford’s Torrie DeStefano chipped in 11 points.
