Norma C. Kohut – Forward Township

FORWARD TOWNSHIP Norma C. Kohut, 86, of Forward Township, died Monday, July 15, 2024. Born in Elizabeth on Sept. 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Howard J. and Mary Caroline Hauser Behanna. Norma had numerous jobs including secretary, cook, cleaner and babysitter. She attended Round Hill Presbyterian Church and enjoyed going to flea markets and the outlet store in Warren, Pa. She is survived by her children, Valerie D. Kohut of Elizabeth, Tammy L. (Joseph) Posa of Forward Township, Brian (Shelly) Kohut of Forward Township and Donald J. (Rebecca) Kohut of White Oak; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Amber and Mike and their son, Nicholas, Mary “Sonny” Posa, Joseph Posa, Ashley, TJ and Jeremy, Chad and Ashley and their children, Hunter, Riley, Little Mac and Camden and Billy and Colette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry D. Kohut; son, Terry “Brud” Kohut Jr.; brothers, William Behanna and Howard Behanna; and sister, Faye Hobaugh. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome. com, where a funeral service with Pastor Gene Sigmund officiating will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
