NORTH APOLLO, FORMERLY OF WEST NEWTON Richard E. Broadwater, 72, of North Apollo, formerly of West Newton, died Sunday, July 7, 2024. Born in McK eesport on Dec. 29, 1951, he was the son of the late James and Loretta Teets Broadwater. Rick was a salesman for Hovis Auto & Truck Supply in North Huntingdon. He had many interests, including going to his camp, bowling, hunting, shooting trap, going to the beach and visiting rustic places. He especially loved hanging out with his grandkids; he had a special bond with each person and shared their interests. Rick was always the life of the party, cracking jokes and making people laugh! He is survived by his wife, Christine (Smith) Broadwater; sons, Richard (Melissa) Broadwater of Level Green, William (Melanie) Broadwater of Transfer, Pa., and Robert (Erin) Broadwater of Madison; stepsons, Eric (Erica Ramey) Johnston of Leechburg and Kevin (Ashley) Johnston of Canonsburg; grandchildren, Ashley, Brian, Natalie, Ryan, Abigail, Mya, Jaxon, Emily, Ruby and Sylvia; brother, David (Lorie) Broadwater of West Mifflin; sisters, Mary
