Clarence ‘Sandy’ Weaver

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Clarence “Sandy” Weaver, 83, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024. Sandy was preceded in death by his parents, Clarenton “Bud” and Virginia Weaver; and his brother, Robert Weaver. His legacy lives on through those who knew and loved him. He shared 63 years of love and commitment with Darlene, his wife and high school sweetheart. He was a loving father to his daughter, Cyndi (John) Gargan; and Pap to two grandsons, whom he adored, Zachary (Haley) Gargan and Matthew (Carly) Gargan. He was also Pap to four great-grandchildren, Reid, Summer, Mabel and Kellan. Sandy retired from WABCO after 37 years and BVASD after seven years. In retirement he enjoyed woodworking, creating beautiful pieces for family and friends. Sandy is survived by his loving wife, Darlene; a daughter, Cyndi (John) Gargan, two grandsons, Zachary (Haley) Gargan and Matthew (Carly) Gargan; and four great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish his memory are brothers-in-law, Dennis (Susan) Etherington and Richard (Diane) Etherington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
