Thomas Anthony Nobili Jr. – Castaic, Calif., formerly of Donora

Thomas Anthony Nobili Jr., 53, of Castaic, Calif., formerly of Donora, passed away unex pectedly on Saturday, June 8, 2024. He was born July 30, 1970, and was the son o f Thomas and Florence Nobili of Rostraver. Thomas was a 1988 graduate of Ringgold High School, 1993 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and received multiple certification and Associates Degrees in web design from the College of the Canyons. Tom moved to California in 1999 and spent 20 years in post-production in the motion picture industry as a color timer and a film restoration/ preservationist. He restored hundreds of films from the silent era up to the present day. Tom joined the KHTS radio staff in Newhall, Calif., and was creative director, worked in the web and graphic design departments and in client services. A loving husband to Jennifer Magnotta Nobili and father to Michael Nobili, he dedicated his life to his family, from Boy Scouts to countless “trips to the rink” for Michael’s hockey teams. Thomas also never forgot “home,” which was evident in daily conversations with mom and dad and daily text chains with his siblings and friends. Tommy was always up for a laugh, including the ability to laugh at himself! He was a lifelong fan of music, mix tapes, wrestling, tech, “world-famous grilling” and sports, especially his beloved PIttsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins. He was preceded in death by baby Danielle, who is now back in his arms once more. He is survived by wife, Jennifer; and son, Michael; parents, Thomas Sr. and Florence Nobili; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Bridgett Nobili of Elizabeth; sister, Robyn Nobili of Belle Vernon; nephews, Travis Nobili, Jacob Nobili Palm and JJ Magnotta; niece, Alessandra Nobili; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024. A blessing service will be follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
