Celeste Henrietta Celestine Roskevitch – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Celeste Henrietta Celestine Roskevitch, 89, of Rostraver Township, died June 27, 2024, with loving family by her side. Cel este Henrietta Celest ine Roskevitch was born on May 12, 1935, in Granville, Pa., to the late Angelo Celestine and Blanche Zanardelli Celestine and went by Henrietta for most of her life until she became a grandmother and was dubbed “Gug” by her eldest grandson. From then on, she was affectionately called Gug by everyone who had the privilege to know her. Gug attended California Area High School (Class of 1953) before pursuing her registered nurse degree at Southside School of Nursing (Class of 1956). After nursing school, she dedicated 11 years to the patients of Brownsville General Hospital, serving in both the emergency and operating rooms. She spent the next 34 years of her career at California University of Pennsylvania
