Sandra Kaye Patterson

MONONGAHELA

Sandra Kaye Patterson, 83, of Monongahela, died Saturday, May 25, 2024, in her home. She was born April 13, 1941, in New Eagle, the daughter of Jos eph Lockoski and Dorothy Mitchener Mullins. Sandra was a member of the former St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Monongahela, where she was a member of the altar guild and was instrumental in starting their fish fry. Many years ago, she was a floral designer at Monessen Florist. Sandra and her husband, Duane, were inseparable. You never saw one without the other. She enjoyed going to the casino and visiting her son, Don, and his dogs in Arizona. She is survived by her son, Donald D. Patterson, with whom she made her home; sister, Bonnie Long of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duane D. Patterson, who died June 12, 2021. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in the FRYE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
