Guy K. Patterson
ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Guy K. Patterson, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, May 24, 2024. Born in McK eesport on July 29, 1935, he was the son of the late James Boyd Patterson and Marian (Kelley) Patterson. Guy was a lifelong farmer and was raised on the family property, The East View Farm on Patterson Lane, in Rostraver Township. Guy was a life member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and retired from the USX Clairton Works, where he worked for 35 years. He is survived by his son, Scott (Renee) Patterson of West Newton; grandchildren, Brandon (Lindsey) Patterson, Mallory (Jordan) Marish, Morgan Patterson (Jared Adametz) and Luisa Miller; great-grandchildren, Beckett, Carmine, Collin, Cohen, Chance, Charleigh and Case; sister, Janet (David) Tanner of Dauphin, Pa.; niece, Martha Patterson Avery; and nephews, Jonathan Tanner and Daniel Tanner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kaye Patterson; and brother, Bob Patterson.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome. com. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in the Olive Branch Baptist Church, 296 PA-981, Rostraver Township, with Pastor Ken Sommerfeldt officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
