Eleanor M. Miller

CHARLEROI, FORMERLY OF HOPEWELL

Eleanor M. Miller, 88, of Charleroi, formerly of Hopewell, passed away on Satur day, May 25, 2024. Born on July 21, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Nosek) Jankowski. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Hopewell Township and its Christian Mothers. She was a graduate of Washington High School and worked in admissions at the former Aliquippa Hospital. She enjoyed decorating for holidays, playing in card club and working out in the Silver Sneakers program. Eleanor is survived by her son, Joseph (Holly) Miller, of Charleroi; grandchildren, Jared and Olivia Miller; and sisters, Marian Ballas, of Meadowlands and Shirley (Robert) Bonanno of Washington. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Miller; daughter, Janet Miller; and siblings, Stanley, John, Anthony, Robert and Dolores.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 , 2024 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday May 30, 2024, in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 624 Washington Ave., Charleroi. Interment will be private in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery, Burgettstown. The family would like to thank the staff at Hallsworth House for their care, compassion and friendship.
