Lillian P. Smith

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Lillian P. Smith, 98, of Rostraver Township, died Monday, May 20, 2024. Born in Red Bank, Pa., on Dec. 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Zerie and Edith M. Rowe Vinck. A loving homemaker, Lillian enjoyed baking and crocheting. She was a member of First Christian Church in Monessen. She was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by her sons, Robert M. Smith of the state of California and Timothy J. Smith of Florida; daughters, Peggy Heffner of Daisytown and Mary Anna Pitner of Rostraver Township; grandchildren, Melissa McElroy, Jason Z. Smith, Christopher Heffner, Elizabeth Gardemeyer, Jon Heffner, Katherine Kozy, Brandon Smith, Zachary Pitner, Conner Pitner, Kaitlyn Smith and Nicholas Smith; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Smith; and son, Kenneth A. Smith. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m Wednesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www. jamesstumpfuneralhome. com, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Sandra E. Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
