Tara Lee Posey

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Tara Lee Posey passed suddenly on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in a tragic accident near Myrtle Beach, S.C. She was with her husband, Michael Anthony Posey, who sustained serious injuries and is undergoing multiple surgeries in South Carolina. She is the daughter of Charles Jeffrey Lee and the late Eleanor K. Lee; and daughterin- law of Mariann Posey (fiancé, Stanley T. Badock) and the late James Posey. Tara was the devoted and beloved mother of Jacob Michael and Morgan Lee Posey. She adored her husband and children and was an example of faithfulness and unconditional love. She was the beloved sister of Victoria Lee Reid and her husband Richard E. Reid; and aunt to Jessica Lee Miller and her husband, Chandler Miller, and Jordan Stryker Reid. She was a beloved sister to Charles Jeffrey Lee Jr. and his wife, Allyson Dubinsky Lee; and aunt to Colton Lee and Saylor Lee; the beloved sister-inlaw to Angie Cieslinski and her daughter, Katy, and son, Nick Cieslinski; Debbie Pfile and her husband, Joe Pfile, and aunt to their son, Tanner (Courtney) Pfile and the late Lexi Pfile; sister-in-law to James Posey and partner Karen Kosh, and the late Melissa Cramer; and aunt to children, Carley and Christopher Green and great-nephew, Jesse and Jenna and Jake Posey. She was the niece of Janet K. Laszewski and the late Brian Laszewski, Stephen Kurylo and Gemma Kurylo; and cousin to the late Kelly Ann Clark (Todd) and Ryan Kurylo (Amber) and Stephen Kurylo (Chelsea). Tara graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School and Duquesne School of Pharmacy. She was employed at UPMC Monroeville East as a doctor of pharmacy in the Critical Care Unit. Her expertise and dedication were revered by her colleagues, and she was a steady anchor in her department and a true friend to all who worked with her. Tara brought joy and love to all who knew her. She had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. We thank you for your prayers for our family as we need God’s strength to help us through this time. Tara leaves a legacy of loyalty and steadfastness in her faith, her husband, children, family and friends. We will carry on her legacy with the grace of our God. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming and will be announced at a later date to celebrate and honor the beautiful life of Tara Posey and the gift she was and will always be to us.
