June L. Lewis, 90, of Moss Point, Miss., went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2024, in Ocean Springs, Miss. A daughter of the late Glenn and Stella Linzey Shellenberger, she was born on Feb. 2, 1934, in Elwood City. June resided in Fayette City from 1992–2015 and since has resided in Mississippi. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly and James Hardison of Williamston, N.C., and Vicki and Loyal Gregory of Moss Point, Miss.; three grandchildren, Heather (Rob) Arment of Castle Shannon, R.J. Hardison of Williamston, N.C., and Ricky Hardison of Hickory, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Madeline June Arment and Ezra Francis Arment; and her grand dog, Casper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Frank” Lewis, on July 11, 2013; a sister, Joann Cowie; and two brothers, Donald and Paul Shellenberger. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, in Belle Vernon Cemetery with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
