Thomas Dale Timko, 72, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Monongahela, passed away Tuesday May 7, 2024, at his home after battling Parkinson’s disease. He was born May 15, 1951, in Monongahela, a son of the late Peter and Anna Timko. Tom graduated in 1970 from the former Monongahela High School. He moved to Las Vegas to work in the casino business and began working for Michael Gaughan, owner of the South Point Hotel and Casino, where he continued working for over 40 years. A very kind and generous man, Tom was loved by all. He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Maryann Timko, whom he married May 10, 2003; and a brother, James Timko of Las Vegas. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Pikor who passed away Dec. 7, 2020, in Estero, Fla.; and a brother-in-law, Joe Pikor. At Tom’s request, there was no viewing or services.
