Social media bill passes House, but roadblocks await

A bill that regulates how social media companies treat minors on their platforms was approved by the state House of Representatives this week. 

Its provisions are similar to those in state laws being blocked in federal courts and in a case before the U.S. Supreme Court. The regulations control how those platforms interact with children.
