Monongahela promotes police officer to full time

Monongahela council promoted one of its part-time police officers to full-time at Wednesday’s council meeting.
Monongahela council approved the hiring of Spencer Allen, a former sergeant in the United States Marines. Allen joined the department in April 2023 as a part-time officer.
“He has been a model employee since then,” police Chief Kevin Harris said.
