Raymond ‘Bud’ E. Frere III – Carroll Township

Raymond “Bud” E. Frere III, 68, of Carroll Township, passed away on May 4, 2024. Raymond was born on Jan. 14, 1956, to the late Raymond E. II and Gertrude “Penny” Frere. Raymond worked as a material inspector for the Pennsylvania Turnpike for many years and loved spending his time outdoors. He enjoyed trap shooting, hunting and fishing, and being out on his boat. Raymond loved his dogs, Kobe, Sandy, Kimber and Shelby, but will be remembered by his loving family and friends of whom will miss him the most. Surviving to cherish Raymond’s memory are his wife, Carrie Weight Frere; his sons, Michael (Michelle Wojnar) Frere and Zachary Frere, and his girlfriend, Rhianna Sphar; his sister, Cindy Snow; his nephews, Gary “Skip” Snow and family and Clinton Shawley and family; Raymond’s uncle Larry (JoAnn) Weight; and his niece, Bethany Cypher and family. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his in-laws, Ralph and Nora Weight and brother-in-law, Gary Snow. Per Raymond’s wishes, arrangements have been entrusted to HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
