Charlotte J Durka, 66, of Donora, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at her home. She was born June 11, 1957, in Donora, daughter of the late William White and the late Olga Yuschak White. She was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Donora. Charlotte had a 40-year career in cosmetology as a beautician and educator. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Durka, on Oct. 17, 2017; and two sisters, Katherine Hogben and Constance French. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Matthew W. (Desiree) Durka of Monongahela and Jacob T. (Michelle) Durka of Charleroi; grandchildren, Owen Jacob Durka, Addacie Evelyn (Sissy) Durka and Brynlee Louise Durka; brother, William (Bonnie) White of New York; niece, Carin Sychterz; nephew, David Hogben; and cousin, Heather White. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, where the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Very Rev. Father Constatine Curchin officiating. Entombment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park in Donora.
