Crumbling building closes Donora parking garage

Donora Council is trying to figure out what to do next with a dilapidated structure at 618 McKean Ave. as falling bricks have led to the closure of the borough’s parking garage on Sixth Street.

Council President Cindy Brice said she, Mayor Donnie Pavelko and her husband, Councilman Jim Brice came to the borough building one morning and found bricks laying in the upper parking lot.
