Denise Anne Robinson – Charleroi

By obits

Denise Anne Robinson was born on Feb 23, 1960, in Charleroi. She was the youngest child born to William and Shirley Lee. She attended Brownsville High School, where she graduated in 1978. It was on Friday 13, 1981, in San Antonio Texas, that she met her first love, Milton Sanders Jr. Their love blossomed as they would get married three weeks later and would go on to have five children, two sons and a set of triplet daughters. She worked in health care, being a certified nursing assistant while being a full-time mother of five. She was a fun and loving woman who poured into her family. She loved cooking her favorite meals for her loved ones to enjoy. That’s why she loved holidays, they were perfect opportunities to spend time with family and to cook a variety of dishes that her family loved. She especially loved making holiday meals for her father, whom she cared for as he aged. She loved reading and listening to music. Her favorite book was “When God Whispers Your Name” by Max Lucado. Her favorite song was “His Eye Is on the Sparrow” by Whitney Houston. She really enjoyed hearing the rap music created by her sons; it made her proud. She loved taking her children to all kinds of parks. She would take them to amusement parks, water parks, state parks and playgrounds. Her favorite park was Kennywood, her favorite season was spring, her favorite flower was roses and her favorite color was purple. Our dear mother peacefully passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 64, to be united with the ancestors, to watch over and guide us. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin Lee Sr. and Shirley Lee; brothers, William F. Lee Jr. and Walter Tyler; and sisters, Shirley Miller and Charlotte Blue. She is survived by her brother, Charles Tyler; the love of her life, Milton T. Sanders Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Milton Sr. and Lucille Sanders; sons and wives, Milton III and TeQuerra Shabazz, and William and Latitia Almyty; daughters and husbands, Kaulana and Joey Frank, Charissa Yakemik, Lucille Lynch; grandchildren, Anjeanlina Smith, Milton T.
