Rose Marie Gerbaisi Miller, 85, of Monongahela, Carroll Township, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, in her home. Born Feb. 8, 1939, in Donora, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Natalie Totedo Gerbasi. After graduating in 1957 from Donora High School, Rose attended Douglas School of Business in Monessen. She was a faithful member of Journey by Grace Church in Rostraver Township. A homemaker, Rose worked for many years at the former London Fog in Charleroi. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid oil painter. Rose is survived by a son, Joseph and his wife Nicole Berkich of Daisytown; a stepdaughter, Pegge Gomez of Miami, Fla.; a sister, Lois Douglas of Woodbridge, Va.; eight grandchildren, Lauren and Alexa Gomez, Melissa Pidich, Kylee, Roman and Vivian Berkich and Conner and Liam Kennedy; a great-grandson, Justin Kowalske; and a son-in-law, Anthony Yauch of Warren, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce H. Miller, who died Oct. 6, 2022; a daughter, Gina Yauch, who died May 8, 2022; a son, Robert Berkich, who died May 13, 1963; and a sister, Dolores Berkich. Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at Journey by Grace Church, 4803 Route 51, Belle Vernon, with a service beginning at 11 a.m. MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of the arrangements.
