Connie J. Krofek – West Newton

Connie J. Krofek, 76, of West Newton, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Born on July 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Oxley Stoneman. Connie was a fantastic cook and she loved to read and refinish furniture. She especially loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, George E. Krofek; daughter, Yvonne (Jason) Nucci of Stockdale; grandchildren, Christopher Toman, Jamie Toman, Carley Toman, Dominick Nucci and Megan Stewart; great-grandchildren, Kyle Toman, McKenna Daum-Toman, Angelo Marraccini, Greyson Pietz and Leighney Pietz; brother, William Stoneman of Md.; and sister, Carol Earley of McDonald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lance Stewart. At Connie’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Funeral arrangements entrusted to JAMES C.
