Cook tops GOP challenger

It appears Bud Cook will remain the Mon Valley’s voice in Harrisburg as representative for the 50th Legislative District. In Tuesday’s Republican primary, Cook of West Pike Run Township, defeated Stephanie Waggett of Carmichaels, a registered nurse and a former plant administrator at Fayette Energy.
