Thomas ‘T-Bone’ A. Savage – Roscoe

Thomas “T-Bone” A. Savage, 77, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on April 20, 2024. Tom was born on Sept. 27, 1947, to the late John Thomas and Gizella E. Demeter Savage. Being the oldest of 12 children, Tom was always a kind and generous soul. No matter the need, Tom always opened his heart to anyone in need. Tom’s Catholic upbringing centered his life on service of God, family and friends. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus, having joined in 1967, Past Grand Knight District Deputy 4th Degree and always looked forward to the yearly Saint Vincent retreat. Tom was a member of the 10th Street AC, Allenport Rod and Gun Club and the Roscoe American Legion. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, rooting for the Steelers and spending time with his friends and family. Surviving to cherish Tom’s memory are his sisters, Donna Kuch, Mary Ann (George) Lutz, Chris (Glenn) Crawford, Theresa Evans and Rose (Greg) Livingstone; his brothers, Joseph (Reva) Savage, Victor (Donna) Savage, Michael (Samantha) Savage and Jim (Tammy) Savage; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his nieces, Anna Lutz and Coeli Regina Savage; his sister-in-law, DeAnna Savage; and his close friend, Kenny Scott. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. The Knights of Columbus will conduct an honorary Rosary Service that will be held inside the funeral home beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Charleroi site, 624 Washington Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
