Heritage Hill Park garden project planned

White Oak welcomed Sarah Koenig, conservation director at the environmental nonprofit Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania, to its April 15 meeting to discuss a potential pilot garden project in Heritage Hill Park. Based in Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve in Fox Chapel, Audubon serves seven counties in southwestern Pennsylvania and has been focusing on McKeesport Area School District over the past year.
